Jenn-Air Appliance Repair
Downdraft cooktops and built-in fridges, on Whirlpool's parts network. We repair them across Pinal and Maricopa County.

Parts, and why the badge matters
Jenn-Air is owned by Whirlpool. That matters, because it decides where a part comes from and how long it takes to get. Knowing what we're walking into is usually the difference between one visit and three.
We quote a flat rate before starting, and nobody here works on commission. On a machine that cost five figures, that matters more than anywhere.

Jenn-Air tips from our technicians
Specific to Jenn-Air, not general appliance advice — several of these will save you a call outright.
-
Clean the downdraft path
Downdraft venting is Jenn-Air's signature feature, and it collects grease along a longer duct than a range hood does. When it stops pulling smoke well, it's usually the duct or the filter, not the blower motor everyone suspects.
-
Uneven shelf temperature is airflow, not the compressor
If the temperature changes from shelf to shelf but the fridge is mostly cold, look at the circulation fan. A failing sealed refrigerant system warms the whole fridge at once. Those are two very different repairs.
-
Reset the door alignment after any service
These are built in, often behind a door panel that matches the cabinets, so once the unit's been pulled forward the door has to be lined up again. If it isn't, the seal never sits right. You get frost, and a fridge that runs all the time.
-
Easy-to-get parts are a real plus here
Jenn-Air runs on Whirlpool's parts network, so the wait for parts is short compared with luxury brands that keep their own supply chains. That keeps repair bills reasonable on high-end equipment.
-
Vacuum the condenser twice a year
Same as any fridge in this climate. Dust plus 110-degree air is what kills compressors in Arizona, long before age does.

Repair it or replace it?
A Jenn-Air doesn't add up like a budget machine. The usual rule: if it's past halfway through its life and the repair costs more than half the price of new, replace it. On equipment built to last twenty years, you hit that point a lot later. Our tech will tell you where yours stands, even when the right answer is not to spend the money with us.
